Anthony Leroy Hawkins

Mr. Anthony Leroy Hawkins was born on January sixteenth in the year of nineteen hundred and sixty two, son of the late Mr. James Hawkins and Mrs. Claudia Hawkins. He departed his earthly life on September 1, 2022 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Anthony was a 1980 graduate of Hunter Kinard Tyler High School. He also attended Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College.

Anthony enjoyed dancing and good music, watching television and playing with his grandbabies. He was preceded in death by his father, James Hawkins; sister, Alloraine Hawkins, and his grandparents, Nathan and Alwillie Corbett.

He was employed at Trane Technologies in Columbia, South Carolina at the time of his demise. Anthony was loved by all and will be forever missed.

Survivors include his daughter, Ashley Schofield of North, South Carolina; mother, Claudia Hawkins of North, South Carolina; brother, Vincent Hawkins (Wendy) of North, South Carolina; two adorable grandchildren, Antonio Chandler and Ava Singleton; Nieces, Alquetta Hawkins, Shakayla Hawkins, and Portia Hawkins; Nephew, Vincent Hawkins; great nieces, Ja’Layja Hawkins, Sirryah Whitington, Rae’Lynn Johnson; great nephew, Ja’Koby Hawkins and a host of additional family and friends.
