Bertha Jennings

Bertha Diane Jennings was born on January 1, 1954 in Bamberg County, South Carolina to the late Samuel and Earnestine Jennings.  She transitioned to her heavenly home on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, South Carolina.  Diane as everyone knew her, was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Lees, South Carolina. She was a 1971 graduate of Denmark-Olar High School and attended Denmark Technical College.

Diane was preceded in death by one brother, Samuel Jennings, Jr.  Diane leaves to cherish her memories three brothers: Harold Jennings of Atlanta, Georgia, Sam (Angela) Jennings and Richard (Shirley) Jennings of Columbia, South Carolina, Three Sisters, Mary (David) Reed of Greensboro, North Carolina, Sarah Pressey and Audrena Jennings of Columbia, South Carolina and a very special niece raised as a daughter, Sgt. Shamica Jennings stationed at Camp Bueh Ring Kuwait an aunt Mary Donell of Brooklyn, New York, a very special friend and caregiver, Ms. Denise Bonnie Williams and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
