Brenda Harley Obituary

Brenda Lee Harley was called by the Almighty God on Saturday April 30th,2022 to enter into his eternal resting place. Brenda was born on August 3rd,1960 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. She was the loving daughter of the late James Bell and Clary Ann James-Gatson.

She a member of New Beginning United Methodist Church in Norway South Carolina, where she served on the choir. Brenda was a 1978 graduate of Hunter Kinard High School. She was a member of the band. Brenda was employed at Nurses R US in South Carolina. She loved all of her patients and helping others. Thank God for His affectionate grace and mercy during this hour of sadness.

Preceding her in death are her parents and grandparents: the late Clary Ann James-Gatson, James Bell and Harry (Carrie) James ..

Surviving are her two adoring sons Daron (Dysha) James of Orangeburg, South Carolina and Travis (Lateefah) Green of Springfield, South Carolina. Kids she raised in her home Dameon James and Torrian (Lana) James all of Blackville South Carolina, Brittany Corley of Gaston South Carolina, Shanquetta Corley of Columbia South Carolina. Two sisters Sarah Corley of Gaston, South Carolina and Patricia (Clarence) Casteal of North South Carolina. One brother Rashawn (Tyvonna) Gaston of North South Carolina. Eight lovely grandkids Daquez James and Hasheem Glover of Aiken South Carolina, Ja’Teriahm Gleaton of Wagner South Carolina, Davyne and Deziree James of Orangeburg South Carolina, Deaisa and Daron James Jr of Springfield South Carolina and Serenity Green of Williston South Carolina. One uncle, Harry (Martha) James Jr., of Norway South Carolina. Four special friends Kathy Sapp, Shirley Jones, Georgia Harley-Omar of Springfield South Carolina and Lelia Sutton of Gaston South Carolina.
