Clarence Leroy Parler was born January 12, 1954 to the late Roy and Dorothy Johnson Parler in Denmark, South Carolina. He entered into eternity on April 14, 2022 at the Aiken Regional Medical Center, Aiken, South Carolina.
Clarence attended the public schools in Denmark, South Carolina. He was a 1972 graduate of Denmark-Olar High School. He was a member of the band and varsity basketball team. He was an avid ping-pong player which he did quite well. At an early age he joined the Franklin United Methodist Church where he was a member of the Youth Choir and sometimes he played the piano for the choir.
He was preceded in death by his niece Tiffany Mone’t Govan and grand-nephew Duane Derrick Wright. Clarence leaves to cherish his loving memory one daughter Marquita Chisholm, three grandchildren, Kinashia, Terrence and Jason, Jr. of Orangeburg, South Carolina, one sister Judy Parler (Lemuel) Govan Sr. of Norway, South Carolina, three brothers, Danny (Maureen) Parler, Sr., W. Mack Staley of Bamberg, South Carolina and Ronnie Woods of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, a special aunt Mary Staley White of Denmark, South Carolina. Host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
