Mr. Ernest Jamison was born on May 30, 1952 to the late Mr. Louis and Mrs. Mamie Evans Jamison in Orangeburg county, South Carolina. He departed this life on Friday, June 26, 2020 in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
Ernest attended the Norfield schools in Norway, South Carolina. His favorite past times were fishing and hunting. He was employed with Fort Farms in Norway, South Carolina until his health began to decline.He was preceded in death by his wife, the late Mrs. Rosa Lee Sumpter Jamison, one infant daughter, Amy D. Jamison by his parents and two siblings, Mrs. Glenda J. Brooks and Mr. Paul L. Jamison.
Survivors include his two daughters; Rosa Williams of Conway, South Carolina and Ernestine Jamison of Orangeburg, South Carolina; four grandchildren reared in the home, Justin, Joseph, Keeosha and Jaymari Jamison; one great-grandson, Payton Jamison; He is also survived by his siblings, Allen Robert, Walter (Doris), Mary, Levi, and Charlie (Nichelle) Jamison all of Norway, South Carolina and Barbara C. Drayton; one brother in law, Lee Brooks; one paternal aunt, Mrs. Olive M. Huggins and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
