Greta L. Steadman

Greta LaChelle Steadman was born on January 17, 1975 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina to Bobby and Betty Steadman. She fell asleep in death on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the Orangeburg Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg, South Carolina.

She attended Hunter Kinard Tyler High School. She persevered at Denmark Technical College where she became a certified Clinical Medical Assistant, and a Phlebotomy Technician. She also received her business license at Southeastern University. She was employed at Willie B. Louis, M.D, P.A. Family Practice and also at Publix.

Greta is survived by her two loving children, Kwanita Mckie and Javerian Mckie both of Orangeburg, South Carolina; adorable grandson, Aazon; loving parents, Bobby and Betty Steadman of Springfield, South Carolina; two brothers, Keefe Steadman of Springfield, South Carolina, and Garrick Steadman of Columbia, South Carolina; one sister, Tara Singleton of Neeses, South Carolina; two nieces, Kyashya Steadman and Kmya Landy; nine uncles, ten aunts; and a host of family and friends who cared deeply for her.
