Jesse Robinson

Mr. Jesse Lee Robinson was born on January 16, 1951 to the late Jesse Robinson, Sr. and Minnie Ruth Reed Robinson. He departed this life for his heavenly home on May 12, 2022.

Jesse was a 1971 graduate of Hunter Kinard High school where he blazed the sports trail.  He was an avid sportsman and had a love for every game he played rather basketball, baseball, football or any other sport. When you hear of Jesse Robinson, the words of being a sports legend followed. 

Even though Jesse loved sports, he also knew the importance of furthering his education. He was a graduate of both Denmark Technical College and Voorhees College.

His legend will be forever live on by his loving children, Belan Davis of Aiken, South Carolina, Jesse Robinson III of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Amelia Shanta Trowell of Springfield, South Carolina; Grandchildren, Zaden and Zylen Davis of Aiken, South Carolina and Jamal Antwan Nickens; sisters, Maxcine (Clifford) Josey of Palm Coast, Florida, Jackie (Ivory) Robinson of Cope, South Carolina, Gregory (Linda) Robinson of Fairfax, South Carolina, Michael Robinson of Blackville, South Carolina, Sandra Hammonds of Blackville, South Carolina, Richard (Sabrina) Robinson of Springfield, South Carolina, and Gerald (Sharon) Robinson of Jacksonville, Florida; and a host of other relatives and friends.
