Joe Waymyers Obituary

Mr. Joe Edward Waymyers was born on August 11, 1958 in Orangeburg, South Carolina.  He was the son of the late Mr. James Waymyers and the late Mrs. Sarah C. Shaw. After a long term illness he earned his wings on October 23, 2019 at Providence Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina.

Joe Edward Waymyers enjoyed traveling from place to place, making money and always handling some type of business. He was educated at Dreher High School in Columbia, South Carolina. At an early age he was known as the number one mechanic. When there was a need he was always the one to call on.

Joe Edward Waymyers was preceded in death by his brother Joseph (Slick) Waymyers; Uncle, James (Sonny) Clemons; a loving mother in law, Nellie Faye Jackson and his aunt, Rosa L. Clemons.

Joe leaves to cherish his loving memories, a truly, devoted and dedicated companion, Mildred (Ben) Jones; four daughters, Cherylrall (Gary) Faust, Naomi Jones, Demetrius Brown, and Tuiguanea Javon Waymyers all of Denmark, South Carolina; five sons, Dezmon (Moranda) Jones of Denmark, South Carolina, Tyarell (Shanequa) Clemons, Dyarell (Quaneisha) Clemons both of Norway, South Carolina, Brandon (Lashawn) Waymyers and Joenathan Waymyers both of Kingstree, South Carolina; two sisters, Shirley (Charles) Robinson, and Sarah Ann Waymyers both of Norway, South Carolina; four brothers, Daniel Shaw of Norway, South Carolina, Alexander Waymyers of Denmark, South Carolina, Dervin Moten of Columbia, South Carolina and Benjamin (Edith) Shaw of North, South Carolina; three aunts, Rosa Lee Yon and of Mary Ann Isaac both of Columbia, South Carolina, and Ann Jamison of Buffalo, New York; fifteen grandchildren; one great grandchild, and one great-great grandchildren; two very special step kids, Ron and Dolly of Kingstree, South Carolina; a special person of many years, Mrs. Terri Tisdale; God-Sister, Mrs. Sandy Anderson-Atterberry and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends all whom will miss him dearly.
