Josie B. Funchess Brown

Josie Bell Funchess Brown was born on February 13, 1946 in Denmark, South Carolina to the late Nathaniel Funchess and Mabel Ross Funchess.  She departed this life on Thursday, August 1, 2019. 

As a graduate of Voorhees High School, she pursued a career in the medical field as a medical secretary, where she dedicated 20 years to the industry.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Pamela Brown, her son, Phillip Brown, Jr., grandchildren: Felicia, Brianna, and Phillip III, siblings: Fred N. Funchess, St. Matthew Funchess, Joann F. Hayes, Willis Funchess, Mable E. F. Peeples, Lewis Funchess, and Daniel Funchess, Sr.: sisters-in law Ruth Ross and Peggy Funchess, brother-in law, Willie Hayes, and a host of other relatives and friends.
