Mr. Larry Clemons, son of the Late James Pender (Rosa Lee Tyler) Clemons, was born November 30, 1959, in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. He entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at MUSC, Charleston, SC, surrounded by his family.
Mr. Clemons attended the public schools of Orangeburg County. He was a member of Good Hope AME Church. Mr. Larry Clemons was joined in holy matrimony to the late Patricia Ann Holman. To this union, they were blessed with a son. He was preceded in death by four siblings—Willie James Clemons, Henry James Clemons, Rosa Mae Clemons and Wilton Clemons.
Larry worked at Carolina Fresh Farms, Neeses, SC for many years.
“Beaver”, as he was affectionally known, had a fun-loving spirit. Even when his health began to decline, he still had a smile on his face and joy in his heart. He enjoyed fishing, playing spades, and sharing jokes through songs and chants. He truly loved his family-siblings, son, grandchildren, and his forever love-Late Brenda Washington.
Larry leaves to cherish his fond memories: his loving son, Larry LaMarcus Clemons (Shaniqua Walker); four devoted sisters, Mrs. Bessie (Gary) Peeples (caregiver), Docie Clemons, Jeanette Clemons all of Norway, SC, and Wendy (late Alvin) Hay, Salley, SC. Two dedicated brothers—Harry Clemons and Joshua (Joyce) Clemons both of Orangeburg, SC. Twelve grandchildren-Jocoby Holman, Marius Brailey, Marcus Brailey, Marcus Brailey, Khailyah Clemons, Akira Clemons, Samiah Clemons, Ka’Marlei Clemons, Larry Clemons, Jr., Za’Niya Clemons, and Zamrion Clemons; a great-grandson-Noble Brailey. His aunt, Mrs. Albertha Polite, Cope, SC. One sister-in-law, Gayle Dash; a brother-in-law, John Holman. His family caregivers John Bruce, nephew and Crystal Clemons-Salley, niece; and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
