Mamie Waring Jamison

Mrs. Mamie Waring Jamison of Orangeburg, South Carolina transitioned peacefully to her heavenly home on December 18, 2020. Aunt Mamie as she was affectionately known was born to the late Joe and Lizzie Waring.

She was married to the late Robert Jamison. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mrs. Pearl W. Williams, her Brother, Sammie Waring, and Aunt Mamie.  She resided in New York for many years and was a domestic worker. She will be remembered for her fierce and courageous spirit. Although she had no children of her own, she loved her nieces and nephews dearly.

She is survived by her nieces, Mrs. Mildred W. Jonson, and Pearlena Williams both of Cordova, South Carolina; her nephews, Sam (Shirley) Williams, Ronald (Essie) Williams and Freddie Williams all of Cordova, South Carolina and Phillip (Rachel) Williams of Atlanta, GA, and a host of other grand nieces and grand nephews.
