Morris Laure Mack, Sr. was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina on December 30th, 1965 to the late Johnell and Julia Furtick-Mack. He quietly surrendered to eternal rest on September 12, 2021 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, South Carolina following an extended illness.
He was educated in the public schools of Norway, South Carolina. At an early age he joined Hickory Hill Baptist church and served until he was an adult. Morris was an employee of Carolina Fresh Farms for a number of years. He enjoyed working on cars and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Alvin Mack and a sister, Ruby Hickson.
He leaves to cherish his memories; a son; Morris Mack Jr. of Bamberg, South Carolina, three daughters; Marilyn Mack, of Orangeburg, South Carolina, Myra Mack, of Denmark, South Carolina, and Chrystal Walker, of Bamberg, South Carolina; two brothers; Gilbert Fisher, of Dorchester, South Carolina, and John (Louise ) Pigford, of Neeses, South Carolina; two sisters; Marylyn Argrow, of Orangeburg, South Carolina and Ann Clemmons, of Denmark, South Carolina; an uncle; Henry Furtick, of Neeses, South Carolina; two aunts; Lula Furtick, of Neeses, South Carolina and Eloise Jamison, of Norway, South Carolina; five grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and other extended family members.
The family would also like to acknowledge the Walker family of Bamberg, South Carolina. Morris lived with them for many years and considered them to be the following; Elliott Walker, a father figure, Tuwan Walker, a sister and caregiver, and Daniel and James Walker, brothers.
