Antwane Ramon “Twane” Lee, age 41 was born in Bamberg, South Carolina on October 9, 1982 to Ms. Melinda Lee of Norway, South Carolina and Donald Gleaton of Springfield, South Carolina. He attended the public schools of Orangeburg County and was a graduate of Hunter -Kinard-Tyler High School Class of 2000.
At an early age he joined the Bushy Pond Baptist Church of Norway, South Carolina. Twane’s hobbies centered around sports. He was known for many things especially for playing basketball and football at Hunter-Kinard Tyler High School. He was a master at everything he set out to do. He was a hard worker and was employed as a roofer and a farmer to name a few.
Twane passed away on August 6, 2024 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary B. Lee, and Grandfathers’, Landy Lee and Booker T. Johnson.
His wonderful life will forever be treasured in the lives of his mother, Melinda Lee of the home and his father, Donald Gleaton of Springfield, South Carolina; two brothers, Quamaine Lee, and De’Angelo Thwaites both of the home; two sisters, Sandra Washington of Springfield, South Carolina and Monique Washington of Aiken, South Carolina; four children, Jerhron, Alaina, Taylor, Antwane Granger all of Wagener, South Carolina; bonus daughter, Jordan Powell of Columbia, South Carolina; seven aunts, Marilyn Lee, Mary Jo (Melvin) Hart both of Norway, South Carolina; Olympia Lee of Orangeburg, South Carolina, Kathleen (Bennie) Steadman of Georgia, Charlene Goodwin, Lawanda (Chris) Corbett, and Jennifer (Shawn) Smalls all of Springfield, South Carolina; reared in the home as brothers, Terrance Lee of Norway, South Carolina; grandmother, Mary Rhines of Springfield, South Carolina; great aunts, Beverly Johnson, Bernice Johnson and Sandra Gilbert all of North, South Carolina, Carolyn Gleaton of Columbia, South Carolina and Leatha Mae Jackson of Salley, South Carolina; two great uncles, Wilbert (Carolyn) Gleaton of Springfield, South Carolina and Charlie (Wilhelmenia) Gilbert of Wagener, South Carolina; godmother, Marie Singleton of Norway, South Carolina; bonus brothers, Richard Yon, Jamie Brimfield, Keon Lee, Rudolph Zeigler and Akeem Washington; nine nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins and relatives and caring friends.
