Obituary
Mr. Athel Hart was born on December 15, 1944 to Mrs. Lessie Evans Hart and Isaac Hart in Norway, South Carolina. He departed this life for his heavenly home on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at his residence.
At an early age he joined the Bushy Pond Baptist Church, Norway, South Carolina. He earned his education at the Norfield twelve year school in Norway, South Carolina. He joined the United States Air Force where he provided service to his country for twenty years.
Athel was united in holy matrimony to the love of his life, Sarah. Those also left to cherish his fond memories are his brother, Charlie Hart; sister, Shirley Freddie Washington of Virginia Beach, Virginia; uncles, Andrew Shirley Evans of Columbia, South Carolina, and Oscar (Annie Ruth) Evans of Bridgeport, Connecticut; aunt, Marie (Edward) Michell of Columbia, South Carolina; nephews, Robert (Earnestine) Prophet, Charlie Burkett, Victor Mason, Kendall (Karen) Hart; nieces, Charlene (Darrell) Tyler, Stacey Hart, Charmaine Burkett, Charlet Burkett and Janieen Burkett; and a host of relatives, and other friends.
