Don’t cry for me, I’m not gone. My soul is at rest, my heart lives on. Light a candle for me to see and hold on to my memory, but save your tears for I’m still here, by your side through the years.

 MR. CECIL ROWE, JR.

was born on January 20, 1970 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina the son of Rebecca and Cecile Rowe, Sr. He entered into eternal rest at the age of 51 old on Saturday, August 28, 2021.

 At an early age Cecil joined the Bushy Pond Baptist Church, Norway, South Carolina. He later became a member of the Good Hope AME Church. He attended the Hunter Kinard Tyler High School. Cecil was united in holy matrimony to Barbara Brown Rowe on November 12, 1993. They spent over twenty-eight years together in marital bliss.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Peter and Gertie Mae Halman, Jessie Mae and Thomas Rose, Granddaughter, Ja’Ericka Hay-Brown, and Niece, Georgesheena Washington.

 He enjoyed his family and friends whom he enjoyed spending time with. He also enjoyed fishing, football, traveling, baseball and cooking. He was a faithful and dedicated employee for over thirty-years at Carolina Fresh Farm, Neeses, South Carolina until his demise. He held the title of Supervisor for many years.

 He leaves a legacy of love to his wife, Rebecca Brown Rowe of the home; six children, Jerome (Quotasia) Rowe of Orangeburg, South Carolina, Nykeriah Rowe and Eric (Yolanda) Brown, and Zy’and Corley  all of Neeses, South Carolina, Frederick (Victori) Brown of Blackville, South Carolina, and Ty’Rese Savage of Williston, South Carolina; Parents, Cecil and Rebecca Rowe, Sr. of Norway, South Carolina; Sibling, Barbara (Tony) Inabinet of Neeses, South Carolina, Sheila (George) Stephens of Santee, South Carolina, Ricky (Jackie) Jamison of Denmark, South Carolina; Father and Mother In Law, Morris and  Margaret Brown of Cope, South Carolina; Aunts, Geraldine Riley and Fanny Halman; Uncles, Prince Rowe and Jr. Rowe; sisters in law, Marguerite (Ervin) Brown, Margie (George) Brown, and Dorothy Brown; fifteen grandchildren; five nieces; four nephews; and many sorrowing coworkers and friends.  

The family will be receiving friends at the residence.  They ask that you adhere to all Covid 19 guidelines when visiting and/or attending any services. Online condolences can be forwarded to www.jacksonsmemorialchapel.net.
