Mr. Demeon McCormack James was born on July 17, 1979, son of the late Makenzie “BooBoo” Hay and Sarah James Corley. He departed his earthly life on January 14, 2024.
Demeon attended Hunter Kinard Tyler High School. He was a common laborer and was employed by Superior Construction. Demeon was preceded in death by his father, Makezie Hay, Aunt, Brenda Harley and his step father, John Corley. He was loved by all and will be forever missed.
Survivors include his daughters, Lyree’ Widener and Natalya Widener both of Aiken, South Carolina; Siblings, Shanquetta Corley and Brittany Corley both of Gaston, South Carolina, Torrian (Lana) James of Blackville, South Carolina, Monich Conner of Salley, South Carolina and Demetrius Coleman of North, South Carolina; Aunts; Emma Morrison, Jame Smith, Linda (Earl) Rice, Katie Evans, Sharon Hay-Terry, Zelma Williams, Ann Hay-Sims, and Angela Glover; Uncles, Rashaun Gaston and Harry (Martha) James, Jr.; granddaughter, Kaidence Widener; and a host of additional family and friends.
