“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” II Timothy 4:7
With profound sorrow and heartfelt reverence, we announce the passing of Mr. Grady Fulmer Jr., who peacefully transitioned from labor to eternal rest on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the age of 88, at his home in Springfield, SC.
Born on June 23, 1937, in Orangeburg County, SC, he was the beloved son of the late Rev. Grady Fulmer Sr. and Mrs. Beatrice Jones Fulmer. A man of unwavering faith and lifelong service, Mr. Fulmer was a devoted member of Samaria Baptist Church, a proud United States Army veteran, and a dedicated public servant who faithfully served for 28 years with the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Department. He also extended his commitment to the community as co-owner of Fulmer Funeral Home.
Mr. Fulmer’s life was a testament of strength, shaped by an era that demanded resilience and perseverance, yet defined by the grace, and dignity with which he carried himself throughout his years.
We ask that you please keep the Fulmer family lifted in prayer as they walk through this season of loss. To share condolences, memories, photos, or to send floral tributes, kindly visit: www.jacksonsmemorialchapel.net
