Mr. Gregory Tyler

Mr. Gregory Tyler was born on January 18, 1958 the son of Abbie Tyler and the late Richmond Tyler in Bamberg County, South Carolina. He peacefully transitioned to his heavenly home on Friday, May 28, 2021 at his residence.

Gregory was educated in the Orangeburg county public schools.  He became a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Norway, South Carolina at an early age. Gregory was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Tyler, and his father, Richmond Tyler. Gregory will be sorely missed and loved forever.

Those left to cherish his precious memories are his children, Rico Brown of Orangeburg, South Carolina, Gregory Tyler and Tera Freeman both of Norway, South Carolina, Rhonda Casey of Columbia, South Carolina and Tamika Dickerson of Orangeburg, South Carolina; siblings, Abbie Holmes (Henry) of Salley, South Carolina, Reggie Tyler (Tonya) of Orangeburg, South Carolina, Veronica Smith (Starklen) of North Augusta, South Carolina, Sabrina McMillan (Raford) of Orangeburg, South Carolina, Patricia Porterfield of North, South Carolina and Jeremy Tyler (nephew reared in the home) of Orangeburg, South Carolina; thirteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; seven aunts; one uncle; nine nieces; seventeen nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
