Mr. Guy Jones

Mr. Guy Jones transitioned to his heavenly home on May 8, 2021.  He was born on January 14, 1962 the son of Nelson Jones and Ella Mae Jones Dunbar. 

At an early age, he joined the Sardis Baptist Church, Salley, South Carolina. He was a 1980 graduate of Hunter Kinard High School, Neeses, South Carolina and a 1982 graduate of Denmark Technical College, Denmark, South Carolina.  During his career he was employed by Taley Corbitt for over ten years. He was also a truck driver and a mechanic in Washington, DC for several years.  He was later employed as a mechanic at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Mr. Jonathan (Monk) Charley.

He leaves to cherish loving memories his son, Nelson Lamont Conner of Columbia, South Carolina; step daughter, Monich Conner; one brother, John Jones of Columbia, South Carolina; two nephews, Ladoza Charley of Washington, DC, and Joshua Jones of Columbia, South Carolina; special cousin, Emma Kelly of Springfield, South Carolina; devoted friends, Angela Darby and and Abdu Ammiel (Willie) both of Daytona, Florida.
