Mr. Quinn Tyler, Sr. was born to Patrick and Eliza Tyler on July 15, 1945 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. He was the last surviving child.
He attended the Norfield school. At an early age He became a member of the Bushy Pond Baptist Church. Later in life he became a member of the Jehovah Witness Church. In 1970, he married to Simpy Ann Tyler in and this union was blessed with six children. She entered into eternal rest in 1987. In 1988, he married Anner Belle Hart Tyler and this union was blessed with one son. She fell asleep in death on Friday, May 31, 2019.
He worked faithfully for many years at Dixie Narco from which he retired. He continued to work at Carolina Fresh and also as a mechanic until his demise. He loved his tractor and working in his garden which was something he took pride. He was so skilled with his crops that he knew the time each crop should be planted. He would always tell everyone to come get something out of his garden. When people see him coming they would hide their elbows because they knew he was coming for them. He loved to talk and joke with people and making them laugh.
He leaves to cherish seven loving children, Quinn (Cheryl) Tyler Jr., Jonathan (Miranda) Tyler, Ed (LaTonya) Tyler, Cynthia Tyler, Felicia Tyler, Dwight Tyler and Shannon Tyler; In-Laws, Shirley (Ardene) Harley, Janie (Stanley) Stephens, Patricia (Calvin) Holden, Clara Williams, Elizabeth Batie, Mattie Johnson, Betty Jean Steadman, Joe and Henderson Hart; twenty eight grandchildren, thirteen grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and loving friends.
