Mr. Roney Sabb

Mr. Roney Sabb was born in Barnwell County, South Carolina on December 5, 1957 the son of the late Henry Sabb and Pearline Bradley. On Sunday, June 4, 2023, Roney was ushered into his heavenly home just eighteen short days after the lost his beloved wife, Mrs. Barbara Sabb.

Roney was educated in the public schools of Barnwell County, South Carolina. During his career he served mainly as a security officer. He was devoted for over eight years with the South Carolina Department of Corrections, and for over six years with the United States Army from which he retired.  Roney was a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan who loved every aspect of the game.

Roney was united in holy matrimony to the late Mrs. Barbara Sabb. They lived a blessed and beautiful life together for over forty-two wonderful years until her recent demise.

Ronnie cherished time spent with those he held most dear. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was an amazing person with a friendly personality, and a kind spirit. He was loved by many, he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories his devoted and loving children, children, Andrea (Ahmon) Stewart of Gaston, South Carolina, Dimitri (Mary) Sabb of Lexington, South Carolina and Deron Sabb of Gaston, South Carolina and Tonya Barrett; grandchildren, Kristopher, KeAjia, Naveah, Taylen, Meliah, Brennon,  Mekhyi, Anthony, Adorable, Kinsley, Aaliyah and Grayson; four great grandchildren; siblings, Henry (Ora Lee) Sabb of Blackville, South Carolina, Betty (Ronnie) Moore of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Thelma Polizzi of Hempstead, New York, Martha Ann Abrarms of Williston, South Carolina, Rather Bellman of Columbia, South Carolina and Mary Sabb of Barnwell, South Carolina; special aunt, Margaret Baxter of Blackville, South Carolina and a host of additional aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
