We celebrate the life and legacy of Mrs. Barbara Sabb. She was born in Bamberg County, South Carolina on September 15, 1958 daughter of the late Mr. Jerry James and Mrs. Marie Jamison James. She entered her heavenly home on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at the Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, South Carolina.
She was educated in the public schools of Orangeburg County, South Carolina. For over ten years she served faithfully served as a bus driver with the Lexington County School District Two until her retirement.
In November, 1981 she entered into holy matrimony to Mr. Roney Sabb. Their marital bliss flourished for over forty-two years. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, as well as her mother and father in law.
Her legacy of love, loyalty to her family and devotion to all mankind was shown throughout her earthly journey. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother, amazing grandmother, awesome sister and a great friend. We are grateful to God for her and take great pride on being able to share such a well spent life! God definitely choose a beautiful flower for his garden.
Her legacy of love will be forever etched in the hearts of her loving and devoted husband, Roney Sabb of the home; three loving children, Andrea (Ahmon) Stewart of Gaston, South Carolina, Dimitri (Mary) Sabb of Lexington, South Carolina and Deron Sabb of Gaston, South Carolina; seven wonderful grandchildren, Kristopher, KeAjia, Naveah, Taylin, Meliah Grace, Brennon Myles and Mekhyi Caleb; five awesome brothers, Johnny (Berley) James, Joe (Kia) James and Mark James all of Norway, South Carolina, Darryl (Dorothy) James of Aiken, South Carolina and Terry James of Columbia, South Carolina; three aunts, three uncles, two nieces, four nephews and a host of other relatives, and friends.
Professional services have been entrusted to Jackson's Memorial Chapel, Swansea, South Carolina.
