Mrs. Elease James

Elease “Shorty” Kinard James entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 4, 2019. Elease was born October 28, 1951, in Barnwell, SC the daughter of Sammuel and Ruth Kinard. She graduated from Hunter-Kinard High School. 

Elease was a devoted and loving wife. She loved to cook for her family and the community. She was preceded in death by her son, Victor James.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories her husband of 49 years: David James; her son: Tito James; Three sisters: Frances, Burnnese and Barbara; Six brothers: Curtis, Bernard, Tommy, Tyrone, Albert, and Ronnie; One aunt, Berta Williams; Three uncles: Ben Kinard, Horace Kinard and Wallace Green; sisters in law: Evelyn, Shellie, Leatha, Betty Ann and Eartha; brothers in law: James, Levern and Ronnie; and a host of grandchildren,  nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
