We celebrate the life of Mrs. Floria W. Harris, a remarkable woman who lived 98 blessed years, rooted in faith and devoted to God. She was a God-fearing woman whose life reflected grace, humility, and unwavering trust in the Lord. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 9:10), and her wisdom was evident in the way she lived, loved, and served others.
As a devoted mother and grandmother, Mrs. Harris was a pillar of strength, compassion, and guidance. Her home was a place of prayer, warmth, and unconditional love. She embodied the truth of “Her children arise and call her blessed; her grandchildren also praise her” (Proverbs 31:28).
Mrs. Harris was a treasured friend and a devoted educator, faithfully sowing seeds of knowledge and encouragement into countless lives. She lived out the calling of “Train up a child in the way he should go” (Proverbs 22:6), believing deeply in nurturing both the mind and the spirit.
Her life was a testimony of service and faithfulness. Though we grieve her passing, we take comfort in God’s promise, knowing she has completed her earthly journey. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7). We rejoice knowing she now rests in eternal peace, hearing the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:21). Her legacy of faith, love, and wisdom will continue to live on through generations. “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord… they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them” (Revelation 14:13).
We, the management and staff of Jackson’s Memorial Chapel, humbly ask for your prayers for the Harris family and their extended loved ones during this time of great loss. May they find comfort in God’s love and strength to face each new day with hope. We pray that cherished memories of Floria will bring joy, and that their lives will continue to be surrounded by love and friendship.
