Mrs. Roxie Ann Baker, daughter of the late Hermas and Daisy Corbitt was born on February 15, 1953 in Barnwell, SC. She entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Aiken Regional Medical Center.
Roxie Ann graduated from Wagener-Salley High School in 1973. Her senior motto was “Take it easy. Have lots of fun and let the world flicker by!” She worked numerous jobs including Salley Manufacturing Company and Sara Lee. Roxie had a wonderful personality. She loved her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and all of her family and friends. At an early age, she joined the Samaria Missionary Baptist Church in Springfield, SC.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Hermas and Daisy Corbitt; brother, Sanders Corbitt; grandchildren, Zamonie Corbitt, Zyriah Duncan and Miyonna Duncan.
Mrs. Roxie Ann leaves to cherish her precious memories: her husband, Robert L. Baker of Springfield, SC; daughter, Latyce (Jamie) Baker of Springfield, SC; three sons, Christopher (Lowanda) Corbitt of Springfield, SC, Carlos (Janice) Corbitt of Springfield, SC, and Robert (Donnette) Baker of Wagener, SC; three brothers, John Gene Corbitt of Windsor, SC, Esker (Leslie) Corbitt of Windsor, SC and Isiah (Mary) Corbitt of Batesburg, SC; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; along with numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
