Ms. Johnnie Mae Anderson, 69, our beloved mother, sister, and friend quietly departed this life for a better home on Wednesday, December 28, 2024. She was born on January 2, 1955 and was the daughter of the late John and Carrie Anderson.
She also was preceded in death by her brother Woodrow Stroman. She was educated in the public schools of Orangeburg County, South Carolina.
Johnnie Mae was an amazing caregiver that enjoyed nursing others back to good health. A Friend to many and a cherished member of the community, she was always there when you needed her, offering support, wisdom, and embracing with an abundance of love.
Johnnie Mae was a wonderful woman who always loved cooking, fishing, eating chocolate and interacting with others. She enjoyed watching crime shows and her newest obsession was Tik Tok.
A friend to many, she was a cherished member of the community in Norway, SC, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength. She leaves behind to cherish her fond memories, sons, John Anderson and Adam Boateng; sister, Edna Anderson; two granddaughters, Journee Glover and A'Dreem Boateng; niece, Carrie Youmans; two nephews Darren Stroman and Woodrow Stroman along with countless family and friends who felt her warmth and generosity.
